LED OUTLET  /  Pylon And Monument Sign Repair

Pylon And Monument Sign Repair In Orlando.

Dark Cabinet, Lit Again.

Your pylon sign is the one thing drivers see from the road. When the cabinet goes dark or half lit, the whole plaza looks closed, and every tenant on that sign is paying for it.

LED OUTLET repairs pylon signs and monument signs across Orlando and Central Florida. Dark cabinets, dead ballasts, fluorescent tubes swapped for LED, cracked and faded faces, new tenant panels. Our own bucket truck reaches plaza height, so there's no lift rental on your bill.

Why Pylon And Monument Signs Fail.

A pylon or monument sign is a big lit box. Inside are rows of fluorescent tubes or LED strips, a ballast or a power supply, and the wiring that feeds them, all behind an acrylic or polycarbonate face. Big box, big surface, and it sits in the sun and the rain all year.

Fluorescent tubes and ballasts die.

Most older cabinets run on long fluorescent tubes. Tubes dim, flicker, and go out one at a time, so the face lights in stripes. The ballast that drives them fails next, and a whole section goes dark together. Tubes and ballasts cost more every year and the supply is drying up.

LED strips and power supplies fail.

Newer cabinets run LED strips off a power supply. Heat inside a closed cabinet in July is brutal on both. When the power supply goes, the whole side goes dark. When a strip goes, you get a dark band across the face.

Faces crack, fade, and blow out.

Acrylic faces get brittle in the sun. Hail, wind, and a thrown rock finish the job. A faded face lets less light through and makes a working cabinet look dim. A cracked face lets rain in.

Water gets in.

A cracked face, a bad seal, a missing retainer, or a conduit that was never capped. Water pools in the bottom of the cabinet and takes the ballast, the sockets, and the wiring with it.

Photocells, timers, and breakers.

The sign works, the controls don't. A photocell pointed at a street light thinks it's daytime. A timer drifts. A tripped breaker at the base nobody checked. Cheap fixes if you look at the controls first.

What We Fix.

  • Dark or half lit cabinets
  • Failed ballasts and transformers
  • Dead LED strips and power supplies
  • Fluorescent tubes retrofitted to LED
  • Cracked, faded, or missing faces
  • Face replacement and new tenant panels
  • Monument sign lighting and electrical
  • Pole, base, and cabinet wiring
  • Photocells, timers, and breakers

A dark cabinet does not mean a new sign. The box, the pole, and the structure usually have decades left. What's inside is what gets replaced.

How The Repair Goes.

  1. 1.Request a quote on this page. Tell us the plaza, which sign, and what it's doing. We reach out the same day.
  2. 2.We come look at the sign. We open the cabinet from the truck and check the tubes or strips, the ballast or power supply, the sockets, the wiring, and the controls. We find what actually failed.
  3. 3.You get a straight answer and a price before any work starts. Relamp, retrofit, new face, or a combination, you hear what each one costs and why.
  4. 4.Most repairs are done on that visit. Ballasts, power supplies, and LED retrofit kits are on the truck. A new face or tenant panel gets a timeline.
  5. 5.We check the sign lit at night before we call it done.

The Parts We Use.

We don't buy whatever's cheapest on the truck that week.

UL Listed, every part.

Every LED module and power supply we install is UL Listed. That's Underwriters Laboratories, the lab that tests electrical parts for fire and shock safety before they can carry the mark. It's what an inspector looks for and what an insurance adjuster asks about after a problem.

Current generation LED.

We run current generation LED modules, not stock from five years ago. Brighter per watt, better heat handling, longer rated life. The sign stays even and white instead of fading to patches.

Pick your white.

Bright white in the highest kelvin range for a sign that reads from across the lot. Warm white for a restaurant or a storefront that wants a softer look. Full color RGB when the sign needs to change color or match a brand.

Power supplies that last.

Power supplies are where cheap signs die. We install commercial grade, outdoor rated power supplies built for Florida heat, matched to the load of the sign, not the cheapest box that fits.

Hand picked stock.

We have to stand behind every part we put in a sign, so we test brands before they go on the shelf. If a module can't hold up through a Florida summer, it doesn't go on your sign.

We only install what we'd put on our own sign. That's the whole standard.

Relamp Or Retrofit To LED.

If the cabinet runs on fluorescent and one tube is out, we can relamp it. But a cabinet with several tubes gone is telling you the ballast is next.

A retrofit swaps the tubes and ballast for LED strips and a power supply inside the same cabinet. Same box, same pole, same face. Only what's inside changes.

  • LED lights the face evenly, no stripes.
  • Uses a fraction of the power of fluorescent.
  • Lasts years instead of seasons.
  • No tubes to source, no ballast to replace next summer.

For a plaza owner with a multi tenant pylon, a retrofit is usually the last time you think about that sign for a long while. We tell you which one makes sense for yours.

What Drives The Price.

  • Whether it's a relamp, a retrofit, a new face, or all three.
  • How big the cabinet is and how many sides are lit.
  • Whether it runs on fluorescent or LED today.
  • How high the sign is. Our truck reaches plaza height, so there is no lift rental in the number.
  • Whether a face or tenant panel has to be made.
  • Whether the controls or the breaker are part of the problem.

We look first, then price it. No charge for the quote.

Questions.

How High Can You Reach?

Plaza pylon height with our own bucket truck. No rental, no subcontractor.

My Pylon Sign Lights In Stripes. What Is Wrong?

Fluorescent tubes going out one at a time. Relamp it, or retrofit the cabinet to LED so it lights evenly and stays that way.

Can You Replace The Sign Face?

Yes. New faces, new tenant panels, or a straight swap of a cracked one.

Should I Retrofit The Cabinet To LED?

If it runs on fluorescent tubes, yes. LED uses less power, lasts longer, and the cabinet lights evenly instead of in stripes.

Do You Repair Monument Signs Too?

Yes. Same cabinet, lower to the ground. Lighting, faces, and electrical.

Can You Add A Tenant Panel To My Pylon?

Yes. New panel, lit to match the rest of the sign.

Do You Repair Signs You Didn't Install?

Yes. Any brand, any installer, any age.
