LED OUTLET  /  LED Sign Upgrade

LED Sign Upgrade In Orlando.

Old Lights Out, LED In.

If your sign still runs on fluorescent tubes or neon, every repair is money into a system that will fail again. An LED upgrade replaces what's inside the sign and leaves the sign itself alone. Same letters, same cabinet, same face. Brighter, cheaper to run, and it stops being a monthly phone call.

LED OUTLET upgrades commercial signs to LED across Orlando and Central Florida. Channel letters, pylon cabinets, monument signs, storefront signs. Our own bucket truck, UL Listed parts in stock on Kirkman Rd, most upgrades done in one visit.

What An LED Upgrade Is.

An LED upgrade, also called a retrofit or a conversion, keeps your existing sign and replaces the lighting inside it. Nothing comes off the building. No permit for a new sign, because it isn't one.

Channel letters.

The neon tubes and transformers come out. LED modules and a power supply go in. Same cans, same faces, same look from the street, except every letter is the same brightness.

Pylon and monument cabinets.

The fluorescent tubes and ballasts come out. LED strips or modules and a power supply go in. Same box, same pole, same face. The face lights edge to edge instead of in stripes.

Storefront and cabinet signs.

Same idea. What's inside changes. What the street sees doesn't, except it's brighter and even.

What stays.

Your cans, your cabinet, your faces, your pole. If a face is cracked or a can is rusted through, we tell you before the upgrade, not after.

What We Fix.

  • Neon channel letters with more than one letter acting up
  • Fluorescent cabinets that light in stripes
  • Signs where the ballast or transformer has already been replaced once
  • Signs that flicker, hum, or take a minute to come on
  • Any sign older than ten years still on its original lighting
  • Any sign where the power bill is part of the complaint

Signs that don't need it: an LED sign with one dead power supply. Replace the power supply, done. We'll tell you which one you have.

How The Repair Goes.

  1. 1.Request a quote on this page. Tell us the sign type and where it is. We reach out the same day.
  2. 2.We come look at the sign. We measure the letters or the cabinet, check the wiring and the power feed, and confirm the cans and faces are worth keeping.
  3. 3.You get a straight answer and a price. If a face or a can needs work first, you hear that too.
  4. 4.We do the upgrade. Old tubes, transformers, and ballasts out. LED modules or strips in, sized and spaced for the sign so it lights even. New power supply, sized with margin. Old parts off your property.
  5. 5.We check the sign lit at night before we call it done.

The Parts We Use.

We don't buy whatever's cheapest on the truck that week.

UL Listed, every part.

Every LED module and power supply we install is UL Listed. That's Underwriters Laboratories, the lab that tests electrical parts for fire and shock safety before they can carry the mark. It's what an inspector looks for and what an insurance adjuster asks about after a problem.

Current generation LED.

We run current generation LED modules, not stock from five years ago. Brighter per watt, better heat handling, longer rated life. The sign stays even and white instead of fading to patches.

Pick your white.

Bright white in the highest kelvin range for a sign that reads from across the lot. Warm white for a restaurant or a storefront that wants a softer look. Full color RGB when the sign needs to change color or match a brand.

Power supplies that last.

Power supplies are where cheap signs die. We install commercial grade, outdoor rated power supplies built for Florida heat, matched to the load of the sign, not the cheapest box that fits.

Hand picked stock.

We have to stand behind every part we put in a sign, so we test brands before they go on the shelf. If a module can't hold up through a Florida summer, it doesn't go on your sign.

We only install what we'd put on our own sign. That's the whole standard.

Where The Savings Are.

Everyone talks about the power bill. That's real, and it's the smaller number.

  • Energy. LED runs on a fraction of what fluorescent or neon draws. A multi tenant pylon running twelve hours a night, every night, adds up. Estimated savings depend on your sign and your rate.
  • Maintenance. This is the bigger one. Neon tubes crack. Transformers fail. Fluorescent tubes dim in a season and the ballast goes next. Every one of those is a truck roll, a part, and a dark sign while you wait. LED modules are built to run for years. After an upgrade, the parts that kept failing aren't in the sign anymore.
  • Light. Tubes light a cabinet in stripes and fade unevenly. Neon dims and flickers. LED lights the whole face the same, edge to edge, and stays that way, so the sign keeps doing its job.
  • Parts. Neon transformers and some fluorescent ballasts are getting hard to source. Every year the repair costs more and takes longer.

Over the life of the sign, the repairs you stop paying for are usually worth more than the power you stop burning. The upgrade pays for itself twice.

What Drives The Price.

  • Sign type. Channel letters are priced per letter, cabinets by size.
  • How many letters or how big the cabinet.
  • Whether faces or cans need work first.
  • How high the sign is. Our truck reaches it, so there is no lift rental in the number.
  • Whether the power feed needs work.
  • Bright white, warm white, or RGB.

An upgrade costs more than one repair and less than three. We look first, then price it. No charge for the quote.

Questions.

Do I Need A New Sign To Go LED?

No. The upgrade reuses your cans, cabinet, and faces. Only the lighting inside changes.

Will The Sign Look Different?

Same shape, same face, same color unless you want a different one. Brighter and even.

How Long Does An LED Upgrade Take?

Most channel letter sets and cabinets are done in one visit.

Can You Upgrade Just The Letters That Are Failing?

We can, but mixing neon and LED in one sign looks mismatched and the neon side keeps failing. We usually recommend the set.

Does An LED Upgrade Need A Permit?

No new sign is going up, so in most cases no. We'll tell you if your city is the exception.

How Much Will I Save?

Depends on the sign, the hours it runs, and your power rate. The energy savings are real. The repairs you stop paying for are usually bigger.

Can I Change The Color When I Upgrade?

Yes. Bright white, warm white, or full color RGB.

Do You Upgrade Signs You Didn't Install?

Yes. Any brand, any installer, any age.
