LED Sign Repair And Upgrades In Orlando.
Old Lights Out, LED In.
LED signs don't die all at once. They die a module at a time. A dim section, a color shift, a dead row, and then a letter that's half the brightness of the one next to it.
LED OUTLET repairs LED signs across Orlando and Central Florida and upgrades old fluorescent and neon signs to LED so they stop failing in the first place. Modules and power supplies on the truck, UL Listed parts in stock at our shop on Kirkman Rd.
Why LED Signs Fail.
An LED sign is modules, a power supply, and wire. The modules are small, sealed, and cheap. The power supply is the expensive part. Almost every LED sign problem is one of those two, and the fix is a lot smaller than the symptom looks.
Modules burn out.
Heat kills LED modules. Inside a closed can or cabinet on a Florida afternoon, the cheaper modules cook. One goes dark, then its neighbors. A module that's running hot also drifts in color before it dies, which is why one letter looks blue and the next looks white.
Power supplies fail.
One power supply usually feeds a group of letters or a whole cabinet side. When it goes, that whole group goes dark together. A sign that lost four letters overnight is almost always a power supply, not four modules.
Undersized power supplies.
A sign built with a power supply right at its limit runs hot every night. It works for a year, then it doesn't. When we replace one, we size it for the load with margin, so it isn't the thing that fails next summer.
Water and corrosion.
Modules are sealed. The connections between them aren't. Rain gets into a cracked face or a loose seam, the connections corrode, and a section goes dark or starts flickering after storms.
Old modules, old sign.
First generation LED modules from ten years ago are dim by today's standard and most are past their rated life. A sign full of them looks tired even when every module technically works. A full module swap brings it back brighter than the day it went up.
What We Fix.
- Dead or dim LED modules
- Failed LED power supplies
- Color shifted or uneven sections
- Flickering after rain
- Undersized power supplies replaced and sized right
- Fluorescent and neon internals retrofitted to LED
- Storefront and cabinet sign LED upgrades
- Full module swaps on older LED signs
- Ongoing LED sign maintenance
An LED sign with dead sections is not a new sign. The cans, the cabinet, and the faces stay. Modules and power supplies are what get replaced.
How The Repair Goes.
- 1.Request a quote on this page. Tell us what the sign is doing and where it is. We reach out the same day.
- 2.We come look at the sign. We open it, check module voltage, test the power supply, and look at the connections. We find what actually failed and why.
- 3.You get a straight answer and a price before any work starts. A power supply, a handful of modules, or a full swap, you hear which and why.
- 4.Most repairs are done on that visit. Modules and power supplies are on the truck in the common sizes and whites.
- 5.We check the sign lit at night before we call it done, and we check it's even, not just on.
The Parts We Use.
We don't buy whatever's cheapest on the truck that week.
UL Listed, every part.
Every LED module and power supply we install is UL Listed. That's Underwriters Laboratories, the lab that tests electrical parts for fire and shock safety before they can carry the mark. It's what an inspector looks for and what an insurance adjuster asks about after a problem.
Current generation LED.
We run current generation LED modules, not stock from five years ago. Brighter per watt, better heat handling, longer rated life. The sign stays even and white instead of fading to patches.
Pick your white.
Bright white in the highest kelvin range for a sign that reads from across the lot. Warm white for a restaurant or a storefront that wants a softer look. Full color RGB when the sign needs to change color or match a brand.
Power supplies that last.
Power supplies are where cheap signs die. We install commercial grade, outdoor rated power supplies built for Florida heat, matched to the load of the sign, not the cheapest box that fits.
Hand picked stock.
We have to stand behind every part we put in a sign, so we test brands before they go on the shelf. If a module can't hold up through a Florida summer, it doesn't go on your sign.
We only install what we'd put on our own sign. That's the whole standard.
Upgrade To LED.
If your sign still runs on fluorescent tubes or neon, every repair is money into a system that will fail again. An LED upgrade replaces what's inside the sign and leaves the sign itself alone.
- Uses a fraction of the power.
- Modules last years, not seasons.
- Lights evenly, no stripes, no dim letters.
- No tubes to source, no transformer hum, no ballast to replace.
Channel letters, cabinet signs, pylon faces, storefront signs. If it lights up, it can run on LED. The look from the street stays the same. The power bill and the repair calls don't.
What Drives The Price.
- Whether it's modules, a power supply, or both.
- How many modules, and whether it's a section or a full swap.
- Whether the sign is a cabinet, channel letters, or a storefront.
- How high the sign is. Our truck reaches it, so there is no lift rental in the number.
- Whether it's a repair or a full upgrade from fluorescent or neon.
A dead section is not a new sign. We look first, then price it. No charge for the quote.

Questions.
Why Upgrade A Sign To LED?
Less power, longer life, even light. Tubes and neon fail in sections and cost more every month they run.
My LED Sign Has One Dim Letter. Is That A Module Or A Power Supply?
One letter dim or dark is modules. A group of letters out together is the power supply. We check both on the first visit.
Why Does One Letter Look A Different White?
Modules drift in color as they age or run hot. We match the new modules to the rest, or swap the set so the whole sign reads one white.
Do You Do LED Sign Maintenance?
Yes. Module swaps, power supplies, cleaning, and a check on everything else while the truck is there.
How Long Does An LED Upgrade Take?
Most cabinets and letter sets are done in one visit.
Can You Match My Brand Color?
Yes. Bright white, warm white, or full color RGB modules.
Do You Repair LED Signs You Didn't Install?
Yes. Any brand, any installer, any age.
